My cultural artifact that I am presenting comes from my Italian heritage. It is a family expression that started way back with my great grandparents in Union Italy. This spaghetti sauce has such an influence on my family because it has been carried on for so mevery generations. It has been a tradition in my home base for as long as I can remember.
My ma authoritative the recipe from her Mom and Dad, which in turn received it from their parents. My Great Grandmother made it clear to her kids before she passed away(p) she wanted this recipe to stay in the family. When my Grandmother gave this recipe to my mom, she perfected it by adding a few of her own ingredients.
I pay the fondest memories of my Mom dedicating her time on the weekends to make this wonderful pot of spaghetti sauce. The smell is absolutely amazing when my Mom is preparing this dish. I believe that my family and I are truly fortunate to have the cultural background we have in our family. A push-down list of amazing dishes stem from our cultural background.
This spaghetti sauce is just bingle of the staples that stands step to the fore to me that I have remembered since I was a puppylike kid.
My family is extremely adamant on not using any oregano in any of their Italian dishes. The reason we read not to use Oregano is because were traditional from Northern Italy. It is very uncommon to use Oregano in those split of the country.
The food in Northern Italy varies because as you would find out in the more central parts of the country the judge of something such as spaghetti sauce, pizza, etc becomes a lot more appreciated. In the Northern regions of Italy the food is a lot lighter by adding less spices and seasoning and using more ve build upables and natural ingredients.
