Dr. Faust, Scientist The Websters New Collegiate defines a scientist as: hotshot learned in intuition or Natural science; also know as a scientific investigator. The Dr. Faust expound in Marlows Faust contumaciously fits all of these criteria. He was genuinely learned (or so he thought) in all the contrastive sciences.
